candidasa beaches question by Summer time P: What is the very best way to travel in and about Bali?
Hello everybody,
Me and my boyfriend are going to Bali in a week. For the 1st couple of nights we are staying in Candidasa and then would like to go up to Lovina and just see what happens and decide. What is the best and cheapest way to get about (that doesn’t take 5-ten hrs)? Let’s say we are on our beach for morning and then determine to go to the closest town for shopping, dinner drinks and so on. how easy is that? What would be the finest transportation OR do people generally just stay at the resort/hotel/bungalow/hut beach area they are at?
I have a auto license but can not ride a motorcycle/scooter and my bfriend can but doesn’t have a license.
Any aid would be appreciated. thanks

Answer by In Bali forever
There are a variety of type of transportation mode obtainable in Bali such as private taxis, automobiles, buses and motor bikes. Travel around Bali from a single spot to an additional is extremely effortless as long as you can manage how to go. Renting a auto is advised if you do have international driving license. This will give you much more possibility to see the island and quit anyplace you wish.
If you are indoubt, taking a private is another selection but will cost considerably much more than employ a auto. Details about tours about Bali are offered on http://www.tours-bali.com . For hotels and villas details, check on http://www.inbalihotels.com

The easiest way is to just rent a car. With the driver, it usually would cost around Rp. 250-300thou and it’s good for 24 hours. If you told the car rental that you’d be renting the car for a week they’d usually give you a discount.
Truth be told that the best way to go around is on a motorbike, though. See if you haven’t planned your trip all that well and was just expecting to go and see what’s there (and you’re planning on probably doing a little shopping), you’d most probably end up around Kuta and Seminyak. Now, this area is by far the most crowded of all Bali and I gotta tell ya, it’s a pain in the neck trying to get anywhere in a car in this area. The roads are narrow, it’s crowded, and there’s many one-way streets.
I wouldn’t worry too much about liscences, Indonesia’s not exactly a strict country for traffic violations. It’s not like they pull you over for doing 90. As long as you don’t go around running red lights or disregarding road signs, you should be okay.
you can rent a car include the driver . .
1st suggestion is rent a car & the driver as well. Rent a minicar such as Suzuki Karimun (it’ll be cost u only around 100,000 – 150,000 rupiah per 24 hours) besides, it consumes less gas than the other 1500-2000 cc cars.
2nd suggestion, u can rent a motorcycle and ur let bf be the rider (but don’t forget to put some of sun blocker cream, haha). The policemen here won’t fine you if u’re a good rider & take the correct way (never try to run your motorbike reversed in a 1 way street). The motorbike shoud be cost only Rp. 35,000 – 50,000 per 24 hrs.
Well, i hope this can helps & happy holiday!
Rent a car. You can get one for 60 bucks a week without the driver. Easy and simple. Don’t go with a scooter. You can’t carry anything in the back, and it’s dangerous. About 500 people are killed there each year on scooters. That’s quite a few when you consider the total number of people using them.
For direct visit >>Go for rental car counters at the airport it is cheaper and easy .They provides daily rental and a driver if you want to and professional. Bali is the destination with a very supported facilities…for holiday and business. >>Have a nice travel.
