Our Hotel in Ubud in Bali. It was about $50 a night which came with staff, hand made served meals and free drop off and pickup within the area.

very helpful. plan to go there for chinese new year
The only downside to this room is that the bath took forever to fill… we gave up and the shower is now mounted to the window thanks to me somehow breaking it. If you hate geckos get a downstairs room. Keiko was afraid of them but they are cute and harmless.
We spent about 8 days there, 4 in Sanur, and 4 in Ubud. That was perfect for us. We rented a jeep although we did not need it so much. Denpasar and the area is cheaper than Ubud so get all your souvenirs there… make sure you haggle as well. Stay at Alam Shanti. If you are afraid of Geckos and don’t like their sounds stay on the bottom floor, if you don’t mind then take the top since you will get more room up there.
