Some of Bali’s very best young surfers are set to compete in a forthcoming event on Kuta beach.
Taking spot on Sunday April 25th, the Rusty Gromfest Halfway contest is the third and last event in a junior surfing series organised by surf equipment firm Rusty and the Coca-Cola Indonesian Surfing Championship (ISC).
Individuals with encounter of Kuta hotels (http://www.asiarooms.com/indonesia/kuta.html) will know that the resort is one of the most well-known surfing spots in Bali, due to its prolonged sandy beach and selection of waves.
The tournament is open to all surfers beneath the age of 16 and entry is free of charge, though neighborhood rivals will be offered priority due to the limited number of locations.
According to the ISC Tour website, the winner will be rewarded with an all-expenditures paid trip to the 2010 Rusty Gromfest, which will take location from July 9th to 12th at Lennox Head in Australia.
There will also be other prizes on offer you for the finalists at Kuta, including Rusty clothing packs, Song Ericsson items and free surfboard art from the Freedom surf shop.
In addition, the very best performer in the beneath 14 division will acquire a Sony PSP games console.
Just before the Kuta event, one more Rusty Gromfest contest will take spot at Bali’s Pererenan beach on Sunday March 28th.
