I’ve been dolphin watching in Lovina, north Bali, on nearby catamarans but we weren’t permitted in the water.
Is there anywhere in Sulawesi and which is the best time of year to go?

hmm,,
i’m not an expert, but as i know, there are wild dolphins in indonesia sea, but, they are only in deep seas, the east.
and i genuinely think you should not swim with them, coz all of those seas have like 3-5meters wave. so, unless you happen to be a thrill-seaker-surfer, don’t do it, specifically for the duration of these months (it really is rain season right here). if you genuinely curios, do it amongst april-oct (dry season) i think june or july are the best months, it really is barely raining in those months. just verify once again to make positive.

Sometimes in Lovina (North Bali) it could happen. But official should look at for situation & condition at the time you arrive, example weather condition, sea wave condition and also the dolphin condition. But you still have moment for watching wild dolphin from boat.
