See this TripWow and more at tripwow.tripadvisor.com Carita Beach, West Java “Had been wanting to go West Java, Carita Beach, Krakatoa Volcano, Ujong Kulon National Park for the past few weeks. A Tour operator I contacted was quoting outrageous prices to “arrange” trips to Ujung Kulon. That just piqued my desire not to pay him and find a way. Copious searches on the net led me back to Bartletts Travelogue, right here on Travelpod – the most recent piece of advice/travelogue I could find (May 2005). Then my Bahasa Indonesia instructor gave me a wonderful surprise by sharing a map that the government of Indonesia produces for Lebaran (the time when after fasting for 40 days, Muslims go home to visit their families for Id-Ul-Fitr) Since a lot of traveling happens, they figure it is important enough to warrant printing a good map to help people get around to wherever they have to. This suited me perfectly because it is an amazing map, which I have uploaded for all to make use of….enjoy.
