It really is a modest little town, with just a number of shops and even fewer restaurants. And I believed Ubud was modest. All eight “beach sellers” knew me by name soon after day 1. And I was only on the beach in the evenings soon after SCUBA. Wonderful town for carrying out practically nothing at all.
